Michael graduated from Texas A&M University and Amanda graduated from West Texas A&M University, where they both met The Navigators through folks in their dorms who invited them to join a Bible Study. As they began being discipled by men and women who were a step ahead in their walks with Jesus, they grasped that God could use their ordinary lives to advance the Gospel. Michael and Amanda met while they both served with The Navs on staff at Texas A&M. After getting married in 2015, they moved to Austin and have been serving with The Navs at the University of Texas. In the spring of 2017, they transitioned to lead The Navigator work at UT. They like adventuring and exploring new places, eating ice cream, and meeting one-on-one with students. This will be Michael’s seventh year on staff and Amanda’s tenth year on staff.
Melissa graduated from Texas A&M University where she got plugged in with The Navigators her freshman year. After serving on staff with The Navs at Texas A&M for two years, she moved to Austin to carry out the same mission at the University of Texas at Austin. Melissa has a huge heart to help others know Jesus personally and use their lives for God’s glory. She enjoys running Austin’s many trails, mentoring girls, cooking, reading in coffee shops, and learning about everything she can. This will be Melissa’s seventh year serving on staff.
